Greetings,
I am trying to better understand the faults generated by KFlop. I currently do not have an input from my E-Stop on the KFlop which would tell the machine that it has been depressed. When I press the E-Stop it cuts power to all of the drives. However the Kflop is still fed power through the USB drive so it doesnt truly power down. When I remove the E-Stop I have a position error which. I can clear this by homing all of the axis and can then resume running.
What is typical, and how are errors normally cleared? I see that in KMotionCNC if the E-Stop button is pressed, re-homing the axis will also allow motion to continue again.
Is axis homing a good way to clear following error, and E-stop button faults? There really shouldn't be the need to rerun the INIT file again, just re-home?
Thanks,
Scott
